Hemlock have quite?a habit of?unearthing impressive new artists upon the world – London’s Breton?being the latest ‘no exception’ to that list,?emerging fully formed with a sound that’s equal parts post-dubstep, rakish indie bloke vocals and Big Dada-style leftfield Hip Hop. The major defining thing here is that this is a band, not a production clique, making for a very unique and interesting sound.? Their five track ‘Counter Balance EP’ has won favour with Coldplay’s Chris Martin so it must be dope (!?!!).? Post?dubstep + moody Hip Hop means?the major’s might come a sniffing.? Can’t wait to see what 5 minute genre this gets pigeon-holed in for consumption, Boomkat seem to have missed the mark… the boys haven’t, watch this space
